
Recipe for Hawaiian Chicken Sheet Pan Meal
2-3 lbs chicken breast, cut in chunks
1 lb broccoli florets
1-2 cups carrots
1 cup sliced onions
1 cup sliced sweet bell pepper
1 15 ounce can pineapple chunks, drained, reserve juice for marinade
1/4 cup G Hughes sweet wing sauce
1/4 cup G Hughes Teriyaki sauce
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup honey

Method of making
good my business Grandma are we having fun yet we are y’all what are you doing y’all look at this isn’t that absolutely doesn’t that look delicious all right I have this is Hawaiian chicken and vegetables and I’m doing it in a one in a sheet pan I’ve got my uh pepper and onions here now I’ve sauteed my chicken for just a little bit I made a marinade of U sugarfree Teriyaki uh marinade this is a glutenfree because Cory’s here and he’s gluten-free this is Sweet Honey wing sauce honey you can use rice wine vinegar if you want to I didn’t have any so I didn’t uh I made a marinade of this and I marinated it for like uh I don’t know several hours and then I just pan fried it just a little bit just to get a glaze on it and I have uh put honey I’ve drizzled honey over my pineapple so this is chicken peppers
and onions now you could do this in a stir fry if you wanted to but uh I decided I want to do it like this because it’s I can just put it in the oven it’s quick it’s easy and it Cooks all at one time you can put your chicken in raw if you prefer but I didn’t I prefer to get a little Char on mine first all right now we’re putting broccoli now this is just raw broccoli here it’s just a beautiful beautiful dish I want y’all to see it when I get it okay uh now we’re gonna put up good afternoon I’m Rose and Grandma Rose’s Open Pantry I’ve got tell y’all that when I came home okay we got

our carrots here so we’ve got broccoli pineapple onions and peppers chicken carrots this is and I’m going to put a little now I U I’m going to put a little salt on my broccoli just a little bit and my carrots just a little bit of pepper I’m going to drizzle not on my pineapple I didn’t mean to do that I’m going to drizzle a little bit of olive oil over my broccoli now this is going to cook like 30 minutes in the oven by that time my broccoli will be done my carrots will be done my peppers and onions let me move this I just wanted to show y’all what my mar was that was G Hughes it was mhm G Hughes uh both of them are both of them are J hu they’re glutenfree and uh no sugar added you can use regular sugar if you’re trying not to cut back on it but this is just what I had in the uh so this is
glutenfree and low carb especially if you just go easy on the pineapple and the uh and the Honey now this is honey we got from our bees we had be a couple of years ago and I’ve still got honey left from that so uh I just put it in some hot water got it uh so I could drizzle it and I’m going to drizzle a little bit over my pineapple now um cuz I just want a little sweetness on that pineapple all right y’all give me a second I’m going to put it you’re not supposed to do this but I’m going to today that’s the consistency of my honey because it will get solid like this on you and really what you’re supposed to do is put it in down in some hot water but I’m going to put mine in the microwave

for about 5 seconds and I’m going to drizzle it over my pineapple um because I want my pineapple to have just a little sweetness now you talk about good honey oh my that is delicious honey let’s see do it 10 seconds 5 seconds is not enough to do anything so I did it for 10 seconds but y’all look at this it’s beautiful now it’s going to be like a smorgus board on the table you just dip out what pick out what you want you just put this on the table just like this this is called food fun oh yeah pick out what you want mhm going to be delicious all right that’s my honey and I’m just going to drizzle just a little bit over my pineapple like that you just go easy on the pineapple you’re in low carb territory yep all right I’m going to drizzle a little bit over my chicken also just a little bit now I’ll probably go in and
stir this just a little bit I don’t want to disturb it but I’ll probably take my tongs and just kind of turn it maybe after about 15 minutes that it’s been in the oven it should be done in like 20 minutes I mean 30 minutes it may take 40 it’s according how long it takes I’ll check my chicken and see what uh what it looks like after uh 30 minutes what I’ll do I’ll take my uh my thermometer and I will insert it in a piece of the thick chicken and uh when it reaches 165° some people say 145 some say 155 I like to do M 165 that’s just me I want my chicken well done but I want y’all to look at that that is a beautiful tray right there that you can just put in the middle of your table and my

chicken is not done yet but it will be so my oven just went off it’s on 375° after about 15 or 20 minutes I’m going to check it I’m going to move my broccoli around a little bit my carrots around and uh just to uh just to get some of that seasoning on them so we’ll be back in about 20 minutes woo that’s about one of the prettiest dishes I’ve ever seen you cook all right that is beautiful isn’t that pretty that is beautiful right look at my oh it’s done it’s been cook in 20 minutes now if you want your broccoli doneer than this then or more done but look at my peppers and onions they’re done the chicken look at the carrots MH M look at that I may put it in for five more minutes because I want my pineapple to get a little bit more Char on it than that M okay all right I’m just stirring this uh broccoli up
because some of that liquid from that pineapple kind of kind of uh seeped over there and I’m just trying to get some of my broccoli mhm stirred up in there to get a little bit of that juice on it let me measure measure let me test my all right that’s a a thick piece of chicken let’s see what it is all right that’s a thick piece uh 165 all right here’s another thick piece uh 165 all right let’s do this one is pretty thick that’s and 64 okay all right uh I had to take my grease off I’m making some Lacy cornbread here oh let me get a shot of that too oh okay I’m making Lacy cornbread and I had to take my uh my grease off while I was checking my I better take I better not cuz it’s on like seven all right and I’ll finish that up in a minute all right I’m going to put this back in I’m going to taste a little piece of this broccoli oh my goodness it needs a little bit of salt just a little bit let me taste one the carrots y that is delicious

and the Lacy cornbread has a glycemic load between two and four per piece depending upon how big a piece you make now I’m going to put this in for five more minutes the pineapple chunks you you can leave them out but it wouldn’t be Hawaiian chicken okay it would be something else so 3/4 of a cup or 100 G equal 8.5 G carbs five chunks is like two carbs on the glycemic load so if you’ll just limit yeah if you’ll just limit your pineapple then you’re going to be good and let your guest eat as much as they want right all right I’m going to put it back in for five more minutes let that uh pineapple get a little bit more Char on it I’m going to finish cooking my Lacey

just going to take a little taste of everything so you just let your guest do what you’re doing pick out what you want put it on the plate and eat it that broccoli is cooked perfectly now your pineapple my Fork is not touching any other food okay cuz I might get a negative comment about eating out the pan five chunks of pineapple is low carb mhm okay and y’all saw me eat a little p some chicken I want a little piece tell me what you season the chicken with I forgot it was wing sauce Teriyaki uh no sugar added honey just a little honey a little garlic m w let me see anything else probably salt and pepper yeah salt and pepper that was it oh gracious and I seasoned it and then I pan fried it for just probably three or four minutes just to get a Char on it MH because with that honey on it it chars quickly so all right y’all we’re about to eat with my Lacy cornbread food feeds the family family feeds the heart God feeds the soul so if you want to eat five pieces of pineapple and one piece of my Lacy cornbread it will be four to six carbs and that’s it and that’s low carb low GL is anything below 10 but I’m not going to stop I pineapple is one of my favorite I’ll probably eat 10 pieces
